From early at 7:00 am after picking you up from your hotel we embark to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first visit is Chinchero where the families still preserve their traditional customs and show us the ancestral way they process the wool, and the way they get those vivid colors for their textiles, you will also visit the colonial temple of Montserrat, then we visit the Salt mines of Maras, a spectacular area of pools with salt protuberances from which the pink salt is harvested, coming from the mountains that are still extracted in an artisanal way. Then we continue to the circular rings of Moray, considered one of the laboratories of agricultural experimentation, with its circular terraces that probably witness the genetic evolution of many Andean products adapted to the climatic conditions of the region, then we head to Urubamba where you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.
In the afternoon you will visit the fortress of Ollantaytambo, one of the most important architectural complexes of the Inca period, famous for its terraces built on the slopes of the mountains for military, religious and agricultural purposes.
Finally, we will go to Pisac, a picturesque town famous for its archaeological complex and its visual domain of the sacred valley of the Incas, in addition to its large craft market that offers a variety of products such as textiles and ceramics.
